I think he is still crazy. I don't believe in reincarnation. But what he says about meditation may still be okay.

The tones are magical. They do aid meditation. I wish there was a way to take her voice out of it. I would like just the tones. I am an experienced meditator, I don't need her, just the tones.

This is something that I can try meditating to. It is only music, no talking. that is what I was looking for.

I like this one. It is not talking, but chanting in a foreign language. I feel a little funny though. I am Christian and I don't know wht they are saying. I have a problem meditating to something that may be praise or supplication to a God of some other religion.

I like this video, too. It starts off with a speaker guiding you and the last part is just relaxing music so you can do your meditating your own way.

I once had a counselor who always said "Fake it, til you make it." I guess that is fairly common in recovery. If you fake it long enough, it becomes real.

Big Book Quotes

  • Stories in Action Personal Stories Part I #3 Women Suffer Too p206

I wasn’t trapped. I wasn’t helpless. I was free, and I didn’t have to drink to “show them.” This wasn’t “religion” --this was freedom! Freedom from anger and fear, freedom to know happiness, and freedom to know love.
